'Champion - The Tie That Binds!' In August, 2006, 12 former class mates met at Banff for an unforgettable reunion. We hope we will see them all at the 100th . Special invited guests were a favorite former teacher and his wife, Fred & Audrey Cartwright.

Taken at the 'Farmer's Restaurant' in Champion in 1917
Barney Hummel, DeWilla Little, Bessie Campbell and Si Siler. (Both couples were later married).
The Farmer's Restaurant was the largest building moved from Cleverville into the new village of Champion. It still stands and is a residence located at the corner of 1st Street and 1st Ave. N.
In the thirties it was used as a puffed wheat factory.
On Page 2 of the old history book, there is a photo of the moving operation.

Owned and operated a Harness Shop in Cleverville before moving his business to Champion.
